Free tools for exam forms

Every online application asks for a photo, a signature and sometimes a few documents, each with its own size rule. One form wants 200 x 230 pixels between 20 and 50 KB, the next one wants 3.5 x 4.5 cm under 100 KB. Pick the tool that matches what your form says.

Photo and signature size for your exam

We keep the upload rules of popular exams in one place. Open your exam to see the exact sizes and make every file on the same page.

How it works

  1. Set the size. Choose your exam, or type the pixels, centimetres and KB limit given in the instructions.
  2. Pick a photo. Use your gallery or the phone camera. A clear photo taken in daylight gives the best result.
  3. Adjust the crop. Drag and zoom so your face or signature sits in the frame.
  4. Download. You get a JPG that matches the pixel size and lands inside the KB range, ready to upload.

Why the form keeps rejecting your photo

Most rejections come from three small things. The file is a few KB too big, the width and height are not what the form expects, or the format is PNG instead of JPG. Shrinking the photo in a gallery app usually fixes one problem and creates another, for example it reduces KB but also squeezes your face.

The tools here handle all three together. They crop to the right shape first, resize to the exact pixels, and then try different JPG quality levels until the file fits between the minimum and maximum KB. If your form has a minimum, like 20 KB, and a clean photo comes out smaller, the tool adds harmless padding inside the file so it still reaches the minimum without changing how the photo looks.

Your files stay on your device

Exam photos and signatures are personal. Nothing you choose here is sent to a server. The resizing, compressing and PDF making all happen inside your own browser, the same way a calculator works on your phone. You can even switch off mobile data after the page loads and the tools keep working.

KB, pixels and centimetres in plain words

KB is the file size, how much space the photo takes. Pixels are the width and height of the picture, like 200 x 230. Centimetres describe the printed size, and turn into pixels using DPI. At 200 DPI, 1 cm is about 79 pixels, so a 3.5 x 4.5 cm photo is roughly 276 x 354 pixels. If your form gives centimetres, just choose cm in the tool and it does this maths for you.
