About the SBI upload rules
The State Bank of India recruits Probationary Officers and Junior Associates (Clerks) through its own careers portal. SBI follows the same upload format as IBPS: photo, signature, left thumb impression and a hand-written declaration, each with a fixed pixel size and KB range.
If you have already made these files for an IBPS form, the same files usually work for SBI. Still, check the SBI notification, because the declaration text can differ, and some SBI forms also ask for additional documents such as category certificates.

How to make the SBI photo
- Take the photo in daylight, facing a window, against a plain white or light wall.
- Keep your face straight with both ears visible. Remove caps and dark glasses.
- Open the tool above, tap Photo and choose your photo.
- Drag the photo so your face sits inside the oval guide, then press Create file.
- Check that the result shows 200 x 230 px and 20 to 50 KB, then download it.
How to make the SBI signature
- Sign with a black or dark blue pen on plain white paper. A thick, steady line reads best.
- Take a photo from straight above in good light, without your shadow on the paper.
- Tap Signature above, choose the photo and crop tightly around the signature.
- Keep Make paper pure white on. It removes shadows and grey paper.
- Download the file. It will be 140 x 60 px and 10 to 20 KB.
No paper nearby? Use Sign on screen in the tool and sign with your finger. Some exams want a signature on paper only, so check the notification if you are unsure.
Left thumb impression (240 x 240 px, 20 to 50 KB)
Press your left thumb on a blue or black stamp pad, then on white paper. Photograph it from above and use the tool's thumb option. Keep the paper clean pure white setting on so the ridges stay clear.
Hand-written declaration (800 x 400 px, 50 to 100 KB)
Write the declaration text from the notification in English, in your own handwriting, on white paper, and sign it. Do not use capital letters only. Photograph the full text from above, then make the file with the tool.
Common reasons SBI uploads get rejected
- The file is a few KB over the limit because it was compressed on a different site that counts KB differently. This tool stays safely inside both ways of counting.
- The photo is stretched because it was resized without cropping. Always crop to the right shape first, as the tool does.
- The background is busy or dark. Use a plain light wall, or the FormKit app's white background option.
- The signature is faint or on lined paper. Sign darker on plain paper.
- The file is PNG or HEIC instead of JPG. Files made here are always JPG.
